Each magnetic snap is composed
of a male and a female part plus 2 washers. On each part of
the magnetic snap,
there are 2 prongs. To fix the female, first cut 2 small holes
on the fabric to allow the prongs go through. Place the washer
over the prongs. Bend down the prongs with a ruler or similar
device and the female is fixed. Do the same way with the male.
To fasten, bring the male and female together. The parts are then
snapped like a button by means of magnetic force. No special
machine is necessary for operation. (Note: Rectangular washers
are for #474 and the round ones for #868. Washers may vary a
little in shape from shipment to shipment, but they do not affect
functioning.) Other colors of magnetic snaps,
purse snaps, fasteners, closures, clasps, such as matt gold, pearl nickel, pearl
gold and so on are also
available in mass production.
